The GNYSAA is honored to enter Matthew Dandrea into our Wall of Fame. Matt Dandrea was born and raised on Staten Island and grew up playing baseball in the South Shore Baseball leagues. Matt started working for Tri-borough Bridge and Tunnel Authority in 2004 as a Bridge and Tunnel officer until 2010 when he was promoted to his current rank as a Sergeant and he serves as the Recording Secretary on the Executive Union Board. Matt began coaching various sports 30 years ago, but baseball has always been the sport he loved the most. In 2009, he created The Staten Island Warriors Baseball Organization. Matt believed that every kid should have an opportunity to play baseball and give them a chance to be a part of something bigger than winning or losing. The Warriors teach.......
